About WhyDenied

Last updated: August 5, 2026

WhyDenied.com is a free educational resource for people who have just been turned down — for an apartment, a car loan, a mortgage, a credit card, or an insurance rate that came back higher than expected. It explains what actually happened, what the report probably says, and what can be done next.

Who operates this site

WhyDenied.com is published by MSI Credit Solutions, a credit restoration company that has been working with consumers for 19+ years and has helped 70,000+ clients. This site is a resource MSI publishes; it is not a separate company.

That relationship is the reason this site exists. The questions people ask after a denial are the same questions MSI has been answering by phone for two decades. Putting the answers where people can find them, for free, is more useful than making them call to get started.

What this site does — and what it does not do

WhyDenied educates. It explains how credit reports, tenant screening, lending tiers, and collections actually work, and what your rights are under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and related law.

WhyDenied does not perform credit repair, does not dispute anything on your behalf, and does not process client work. If you want help, the site points you to a free 15-minute consultation with MSI Credit Solutions — and that is where this site’s job ends.

We do not promise outcomes. No one can guarantee approval, a specific score increase, or the removal of accurate information. Anything on this site that reads like a promise is a mistake, and we would like to know about it.

How this content is made

We think you should know how the words on a financial-advice site got there, so here is the honest version.

  • Humans decide what to write and how to structure it. Topics come from the questions consumers actually ask and from search research — not from whatever is easiest to produce.
  • Drafting is AI-assisted. We use AI tools in the writing process. We do not publish what they produce without review, and we are rewriting earlier material by hand where it reads like it was assembled rather than written.
  • Every page is reviewed before it can appear in search. Each page is checked against the standards that govern a credit-repair organization — the federal Credit Repair Organizations Act and FTC advertising rules — and signed off individually, with the review date recorded.
  • The review is enforced technically, not just by policy. The site tracks a fingerprint of each page’s reviewed content. If a page is edited, it is automatically withheld from search engines until it has been reviewed again. Un-reviewed content cannot quietly go live.
  • We cite primary sources. Where a page states a right, a timeline, or a rule, it points to the CFPB, the FTC, or the statute itself, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

Rules change — medical-debt reporting has changed more than once in recent years — so pages carry their last-reviewed date, and we would rather say “verify this for your situation” than state something with false confidence.

Who writes and reviews it

Blixa Markham, MSI Credit Solutions

Blixa Markham — MSI Credit Solutions. Blixa directs the content on WhyDenied.com and reviews it before publication.

Sarai Tamayo, MSI Credit Solutions

Sarai Tamayo — MSI Credit Solutions. Sarai is the Spanish-language editor. She edits the Spanish pages on this site — rewriting where the wording is off, and setting the terminology the whole Spanish edition follows — and she approves them. A Spanish page stays out of search until she has signed it off.
